Baseball Free Agency

This year there is a huge free agent market and teams are making big moves for the exciting 2010 year. On Wednesday November 11, 2009 signed veteran catcher Jason Varitek to a one year extension with the popular baseball francise the Boston Red Sox, future hall of famer Ken Griffey Jr. signed an one year extension with the Seattle Mairners. On November 12, 2009 former all-star Tim Hudson signed a three year extension with the Atlanta Braves and verteran relief pitcher of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Scot Shields is released of the 60 day DL. Former all star rlief pitcher Rafeal Betancourt declared free agency from the Colorado Rockies after being trade from the Cleveland Indians and being trade to the Rockies. Then Betancourt finished the year strong and helped the Rockies bullpen when their closer Huston Street got hurt, and with the Rockies great bullpen this year and offense their planned to make the 2010 baseball playoffs. http://www.flickr.com/photos/chriki/3432719259/sizes/t/
